Happy Birthday Aiden!!
We celebrated Aiden's birthday at Jungle Jims in Orange and our friends from the mom's group. Unfortunately with all the hussle with getting 6 kids ready, cupcakes, lunch bags, coats etc I forgot to bring my camera to take photos :-(
But all the kids had a great time and sadly didn't want to leave. We got home slightly later than expected at 1pm and all the children had fallen asleep in the car during the ride back. I'm sure it will be a quiet afternoon. It's a great place to take your kids on a rainy or cold weather day!

Reminder for tomorrow's Field Trip
We will be celebrating Aiden 2nd birthday on March 24th by going to Jungle Jims in Orange. We will be leaving by 10:30am. They have a 10,000 square foot indoor playground with swingsets, slides, swings and Step2 plastic ride on toys set up indoors. I will be bringing cupcakes.

This week Zohar's brother Asher will offically start with us. He is one year's old and our youngest member.
Lucas will be leaving us and his last day will be Friday. I'm sure all his friend's will miss him.

New work...
1-2-3 preschool project has sent a couple of free activities so I could see an example of their curriculum. I have to say the kids enjoyed them, they were easy to do and finish and there was much prep time to give it to them. Here are so pictures of the kids doing on of them today..

Pre-K Curriculum Found...
I've decided on a preschool curriculum that I think the children will find fun and it gives them something to do everyday. The monthly packets are from 1-2-3 preschool projects and are full of theme based activities that encourage learning in the areas of the fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, language, math, drama, science and textures for children ages 18months to 5 years old. All the materials are pre-cut, pre-measured and pre-sorted. The cost would be $10 per child per month. I think the best time to start would be in May and work through the summer if the children enjoy the curriculum. If you wish your child to take part please send $10 by April 6 ensure we get the kit on time to start in May.

Welcome back EVERYONE!
A week went by really quickly but I'm sure everyone was ready to get back into their schedules. It was a beautiful weekend and hopefully a sign of good things to come.
The children will be working on a new project in the next couple of weeks. We will be planting flowers! Please take your child to a garden nursery, home depot or store to purchase a small package of flower seeds of there choice. Also we need everyone to save there egg cartons to plant there seeds. I will be providing the dirt. We will watch the plants grow indoors for a couple of weeks before they are strong enough to take home and put outside. Please send in these items by March 23rd.
This week Dominic will be returning on Friday and the daycare will be almost back to full capacity.
Tomorrow trip may be postponed or instead be in the later afternoon as I have to have the tires replaced on my car that morning. I will know by tomorrow.
We will need a bottle of juice by next week.
