This Week's Projects...

Monday
Letter T
Fine Motor-Let the children color or paint the letter T. Talk about the color of the letter. Let the children outline the letter with their finger so they can get the feel of the letter.

Tuesday
Blue Mailbox
Fine Motor-Color the mailbox and the word "mailbox" blue. Glue the blue ribbon onto the mailbox
Texture-What does the blue ribbon feel like?
Library-"Little Blue, Little Yellow" by Leo Lionni & "Blue Goes to school" by Angela Santone

Wednesday
Blue Fish
Fine Motor-Color the fish tank blue. Add the blue fish to the fish tank.
Math-How many fish did each child put in their fish tank?
Drama-Let the children pretend to be a fish. How would they swim?
Library-"one Fish, Two Fish, red Fish, Blue Fish" by Theodor Seuss Geisel & "Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale" by Marcus Pfister

Thursday
Blue Sky
Fine Motor-Glue the blue sky onto the heavier paper. Glue the moon and the moon dust into the sky.
Texture-What does the moon dust feel like?
Science-Why do the stars sparkle? What color is the moon?

Friday
Blue Bird
Fine Motor-Color the bird and the word "blue" blue.
