Projects for the week...

Monday
BUNNY EARS
Fine Motor-Glue two bunny ears onto the headband to create a bunny headband.
Gross Motor-Let the children pretend to be the Easter Bunny and hop around the room

Tuesday
BUNNY
Fine Motor-color the bunny
Library-"The Bunny who Found Easter" by Charlotte Zolotow and "Baby Touch and Feel Easter Bunny" by Rodger Priddy

Wednesday
POPSICLE
Fine Motor-Have the children glue the colored confetti onto the Popsicle. Blue the Popsicle, upper case P and lower case p onto the construction paper. Let the children outline the letters with their fingers
Science-Talk about the Popsicle. If it is hot or cold? What will make the Popsicle melt? What does the Popsicle feel like when it melts onto their hands? Why does the Popsicle freeze?
Cooking/Snack-Give the children a Popsicle at snack time. You may want to make Popsicles with the children
Library-"Popsicle Pony" by Jill Stover

Thursday
POLAR BEAR
Fine Motor-Glue the polar bear, upper case P and lowercase p onto the construction paper. Draw a face on the polar bear and blue snow around the polar bear
Language-Ask the children "why are polar bears white?"
Texture-Let the children feel the snow. What does real snow feel like.
Library- "Polar Bear Journey" By Debbie's S. Miller

Friday
LETTER P
Fine Motor-Let the children color or paint the letter P. Talk about the color of the letter. let the children outline the letter with their fingers so they can get the feel of the letter. You maybe wait to cute out the letter P.
